About The Hotel
TanumStrand is one of Bohuslän’s largest SPA, conference, and family facilities. Coming here is not just a visit to a beautiful seaside resort – it’s a feeling.
We offer 155 hotel rooms, 99 cottages, and 250 berths in our marina. Here you’ll find a large SPA, a spacious indoor swimming facility, an outdoor pool, a main restaurant, pizzeria, café, and lobby bar.
Outdoors, there’s a vast area for activities such as training platforms, obstacle courses, a playground, mini golf, tennis, a volleyball court, extensive grassy areas, cliffs, piers, and sandy beaches.
We also rent out bikes and SUPs and collaborate with local businesses for boat trips, kayak tours, diving, guided excursions, and more. The sea is right outside the window, and the sunset is truly magical.
Job Description
We are now looking for individuals interested in cleanliness, janitorial work, and service who want to work at our large resort, alongside a great team with a delightful diversity. We are a substantial facility that requires daily maintenance, and under the leadership of our Housekeeping Manager, Kristine, we welcome those who want to become a part of our team. Cleaning of hotel rooms, corridors, SPA, restaurant, and other public areas for our guests.
Inspect and keep an eye out for anything that needs repair, maintenance, or replacement in the areas you are responsible for and report it to the department supervisor so that our maintenance department can address it.
Who you are
A girl or a guy who wants to work in a diverse environment.
You should preferably have an eye for detail, be meticulous, be open to interacting with guests, and understand that service is crucial in our industry.
A requirement is that you can speak and write in English. Knowledge of Norwegian is a plus, as well as Swedish.
Previous experience in this profession is, of course, a plus.
You need to understand that in your work, it’s just as important to be precise and efficient as it is to be social and service-minded.
